1. Who we are
This store at leagueofriddles.com ("the Store") is run by PPHU Magdalena Romanowska, ul. Niesiecin 52D, 95-050 Konstantynów Łódzki, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 7262418945 ("we", "us"). Contact: league.of.riddles@gmail.com. League of Riddles is our brand.
2. What we sell
We sell digital content and digital services: party passes for the League of Riddles game (an online game shown on your TV and controlled from a phone), printable files (PDF) and similar downloads. If we add physical products, the sections on delivery and returns of goods in our Shipping policy and Refund policy apply to them.
The game is designed for children aged 6–12 and is run by an adult host. The buyer must be at least 18 years old. Children take part under adult supervision; you decide where items are hidden and you are responsible for safety in your home.
3. Ordering and contract
Product pages are an invitation to order. You place an order by completing checkout and clicking the order button, which confirms an obligation to pay. The contract is concluded when we send the order confirmation by e-mail. Orders are placed in English. We store the contract text in our systems; you receive the essential terms by e-mail.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in euro (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. There are no delivery costs for digital content. Payment methods are shown at checkout and payments are processed by Shopify Payments or the payment provider shown there. We do not charge extra fees for any payment method.
5. Delivery of digital content
After payment is confirmed we send an e-mail with your access link, download or instructions, usually within minutes and at the latest within 24 hours. A party pass is valid for the window stated on the product page (for a single party: 3 days, counted from the start date you choose in the app, ending at 23:59 of the last day with a short grace period). You choose the start date yourself and can change it until the window starts. Passes are personal; one pass runs one game. Details, including how to prepare the game, are on the "How it works" page.
6. Technical requirements
The game needs: a TV or large screen with a web browser, or a laptop connected to the TV (HDMI, Chromecast or AirPlay); a smartphone with a browser for the host; an internet connection on both devices; and a printer for the play money and printable items. We support current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox.
7. Right of withdrawal and digital content
As a consumer in the EU you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium (passes, downloads) you lose this right once we have begun performance, if you have given your express consent to the immediate delivery and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Full details, the withdrawal procedure and the model withdrawal form are in our Refund policy.
8. Conformity, legal guarantee and complaints
We are liable under EU and Polish law for any lack of conformity of digital content or goods that exists at the time of supply and becomes apparent within two years. If something does not work as described, write to league.of.riddles@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the problem. We answer within 14 days. Where a defect exists you can ask us to bring the content into conformity, or, where the law allows, for a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.
9. Licence
Game content, texts, graphics, sounds and printable files are our copyrighted work or licensed to us. A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for private, non-commercial parties in your household. You may print the files for that purpose. You may not resell, share online, rent, or use them for paid events without our written consent.
10. Your account and data
Games you create in the app and the photos you upload are stored on servers in the EU. Our Privacy policy explains what we store, for how long and how to delete it.
11. Out-of-court dispute resolution
If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you may use out-of-court dispute resolution in your country. In Poland: the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) and municipal or district consumer ombudsmen (rzecznik konsumentów). The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was closed in July 2025 and is no longer available.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law of the EU country where you live. Disputes are heard by the courts having jurisdiction under the applicable rules.
13. Changes
We may update these terms for legal, technical or business reasons. The version in force on the day you order applies to your order.
